- Student exchanges available to UJK students (after the first year) to study at other EU universities are regulated by bilateral agreements between departments and faculties.
- The agreements are signed a year in advance.
- Before they leave, the students sign the appropriate agreement and while abroad they complete the programme previously devised by the department.
- Scholarships are only a form of subsidising the students’ expenses of living and studying abroad.
- Scholarship holders do not pay any fees (for tuition, registration exams, etc.). While studying abroad they retain the benefits paid by their home university.
- All other costs of studying abroad are the responsibility of the scholarship holders. They have to pay (using their own resources, the scholarship, or other means) for travel, rent, public transport, meals, educational materials and insurance.
